It doesn’t matter what Michelle Obama wears – she’s still an icon
First Lady Michelle Obama’s wardrobe will always spark criticism and acclaim regardless of what she wears…and that’s what makes her a world leader in fashion.
She wears the dresses viewed by the entire world. Some made by designers few have heard of. And everyone has an opinion about it.
Emerging from an era where diplomacy was not exactly the cornerstone of the national agenda, it became popular to express criticism of high profile individuals. And because she is the First Lady, and before that, the wife of a senator who was a household name the instant he hit the national scene, it is reasonable to dissect, discuss and fawn over Michelle Obama.
